Monkey's New Friend...

Here's a new friend for my soft toy monkey... Tadah...

A pig for him in the year of pig!!!

But guess what? This is not an ordinary soft toy pig k...

It's my purse to keep my PSP!!! Cute huh?? I shall call it the PSPig! Hehehee!! =P

Have You Visited The Clinic Yet???

On a normal and boring Friday night, we were walking along the streets of Suntec after dinner, thinking of where to go and what to do...Suddenly, we saw a group of young kids gathering and laughing loudly across the road, we all began to feel old and decided to relive the young hippy days like them!! In order to let us feel young again, we need to be hip!!! And in order to feel hip, we needed medications and treatments for that!!! But where can we get these medications and treatments?????? Thus we went to The Clinic to seek medical advices... Hahahaaa!!

When we arrived at The Clinic, we saw sexy nurses walking around in tight PVC short skirts and revealing tops!! The male patients must be having a good time looking at them there!!! There's even ang moh nurses!! Probably that's one of the treatment to treat patients with tired eyes!! Hehee...

So Eileen approached one of the staffs and were told to look for our own empty beds to rest on... Damn... This is a self service clinic!! Why can't they bring us to our beds huh??! Somemore the room got no air-con one!! If we want to be in the air-conditioned room, we need to pay for cover charge lor! Furthermore, The Clinic was so crowded with other patients that all the beds were occupied!!! What's the problem?? Why is everyone falling sick??!

Luckily, we saw some other patients checking out of The Clinic, so we quickly sat onto their beds!! Kekeke...

We consulted the staffs on our illness and were given a choice to choose for our medical treatments. Each treatment costs $50 nett... So we chose to go for the injection first then on the drip!!! We were given 6 syringes and a packet of drip to share among all.
We were treated with cocktails in both the syringe and the drip... I can't remember the name of the syringe medication but I certainly remember that the medication in the drip is called SEX ON THE DRIP!!!

Unfortunately the outcome after the treatment was not very successful - Think the doctor was just trying to make us high instead lah! Ahahaa!! Since we do not feel hip enough, we went to MOS after that!!

But Fang decided not to join us as it wasn't too convenient for her in MOS... Oh yah, many passerbys thought that her clutches were props that belongs to The Clinic lor!! Kekeke...

Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!

Happy Lunar New Year to all!!! Time passes so fast, today is already the 4th day of CNY!!

Few days back, everyone were still so busy with their CNY shopping, most mothers were busy with cooking and preparing food for their visitors... but now the festive mood has gone back to normal again. The 3 days of public holiday are over... Adults going back to work, students going back to school and for me, I have to really really look for a proper job now!!! No more slacking and no more excuses about waiting for CNY to be over then look for a job... coz CNY would soon be over in another 1 to 2 weeks time... Sianz...

Well well, here's just some updates on the last few days' event...

The day before CNY eve, I finally went to the hair salon and did something to my hair after much consideration! I PERMED MY HAIR and spent 6 hours at the salon!!! Guess how much it costs me?? Costs me almost or more than the price of an ipod video manz!!! 537 bucks to be exact! No, you did not see wrongly... it's $537!!! Think fang gonna faint when she reads this... Hahaa!!

I know, i know... it's not worth to perm my hair at this price coz others can get the same thing done at a lower price like $200 to $300... But I have not finished... I did my hair at Jean Yip so I've already expected it to be ex. The next question is why am I so stupid to do my hair at Jean Yip when I know it's expensive and not go to some cheaper salon?? Coz firstly, my hairstylist is from Jean Yip la!! Secondly, I bleached my hair rigorously last time, meaning my hair is so damn dry so it needs extra treatment (that's why the need to spend extra $$$) to get the same perming results as those who have not bleach their hair before - the same reason for why I previously rebonded my hair at Jean Yip.

Actually, the $536 was made up of $288 for digital perm plus spa treatment, $168 for scalp treatment (for dry/oily/itchy scalp or people with dandruffs), $48 treatment serum and $33 for curl activator. So in fact, the expensive part is due to the treatment and the extra things I bought from them... The bad thing about going to Jean Yip is that they like to ask you to take up their hair packages, ask you to buy this and that to apply on your hair and ask you to do hair treatment... So to prevent my hair from turning too dry and frizzy, I am always easily psychoed by them loh...

Anyway, I like this perm more than the previous one done at HaruScene 2 years ago.

Nice?? Better be!!!

Anyway on CNY eve, here's what my parents and I had for our reunion dinner...

Just a very simple meal for the 3 of us!! That's bcoz we already had our reunion meal in advance at Coca Restaurant 2 days before. Coz my brother was scheduled to fly to Korea and Canada during CNY, so he is not around to celebrate with us, therefore we had our reunion lunch before his trip.

On the 1st day of CNY, we only have 3 places to visit. Eversince my grandma passed away, we have 1 less place to go. The first place we went to was my aunt's place where all my paternal relatives met up and gathered for lunch, thus that's the place for my cousins and I to collect the most ang paos!!!

Next, we proceeded to Toh Tuck to visit my granduncle and his family. After that, we had to travel to Bedok to visit my grandpa's brother's wife (is it called grandaunty huh??)... Then back to my house where all my relatives gathered for dinner. Since my cousins brought their gf to my place I also told Deardear to come and join us for dinner.

The 2nd day of CNY was Deardear's mama birthday. On that day, I went to visit my mum's eldest sister with my parents first. Deardear then drove to pick me up at Tiong Bahru and we went to VivoCity BakerzIn to collect the birthday cake for his mama. After that, we had to rush to Canton Wok to join Deardear's family and relatives to celebrate his mama's 60th birthday! I felt kinda stressed then bcoz I don't really know Deardear's relatives!!! Good thing that they all seems friendly to me... and the topic of the day was about my nails!!! Hehee... But there were still a number of them whom I don't know coz I was only introduced to the people sitting in the same table as me.

Yesterday, the 3rd day... my parents and I went to visit my mum's second sister. After that, we also visited my dad's youngest sister. I love her doggy called Snowy... so cute!!! After visiting, we then went to River Ang Pao for a walk since my mum suggested going. Anyway, it suxs!!! The stalls there are worst than those pasar malam stalls!!! Don't bother to go if you are thinking of going lah... Waste time only... Unless you wanna go and look at those people taking their umbrellas upside down, standing in front of the huge Cai Shen Ye, waiting to collect the tiny weeny pieces of gold dropping down!!! Kekeke!!! =P

Happy Anniversary & Valentine's Day 2007

I always have a choice to celebrate Valentine's Day with Deardear on either 13th or 14th February and either date is fine with me coz both days are special to me!! Since Dear has to work on the 14th itself, we celebrated our Valentine's Day on the 13th instead. Though it's one day in advance but it's also the day for our 2 years and 1 month anniversary! Hee...

Deardear first went for his CNY haircut and highlighting in the afternoon then came to my place after that. Since he could only reach my in the late afternoon, I used the time while waiting for him to make something for him...

Guess what did I make?? Hahaaa... This is what I was going to make... Walnut brownie!! Kekeke...

From this...

to this...

It's an ugly brownie... Hahaa... The heart-shape looks like it's heart broken bcoz of the crack due to the expansion after baking. And I didn't have the time to finish writing 'Happy Valentine's Day' coz when I was writing the word 'Valentine', Deardear was already at my doorstep!

Went to open the door and did not see anyone but a stalk of pink rose placed standing on my door gate... Thus shouted for him to come out! He then walked out from lift lobby area!!

My hands were still stained with patches of chocolate then... Dear then entered my room, so I went back to the kitchen to clear up the mess then brought the tray of brownie and presented it to Deardear... Haahaaa...

Actually the brownie was hard like rock!!! Kekeke... Kinda crispy at the edges and softer in the centre. Think I overbaked it that's why... However if mai hiam, it is still edible ok!! Anyway Deardear still ate it though I think he had a hard time chewing it... Ahahaaaaa!!! =P

Then it was gift exchange time although Dear previously told me not to buy anything for him so that he doesn't have to buy anything for me... After I showed him the brownie, he said that are things in the paper bag and told me to read the card first. At first I saw the smaller plastic bag from Rip Curl, I thought he bought me a bikini!! But I was wrong, he actually bought me a pink tracker cap from Ed Hardy!! And below it was the pink PSP which I told him to buy for me when we went to the beach few days back... I was then just saying it for fun, but he really bought it for me!!! Heheee... LOVE ALL MY PRESENTS!!! THEY ARE ALL PINK IN COLOUR!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, DEARDEAR!!!

After that it was my turn, but I told him that I didn't buy him anything since as agreed previously. Then all of a sudden I handed him a Nike plastic bag... Hehee... He knew what is inside already... It's the bright yellow sleeveless tennis top which he all along wanted to buy but couldn't find his size! Glad he likes it but I felt bad coz he spent so much on my presents and I only bought him a top... =P

Anyway, soon it was time to go out... Just when we were to leave my place, my dad came home. Hehee... Thus I borrowed the car from him and off we went to town to source for one of the tops I previously spotted from Future State... Searched the outlets at Far East and Takashimaya but all don't have the top I tried on at the Wisma outlet. In the end, I went back to buy the last piece from the Wisma outlet even though the belt bucket is abit spoilt... Anyway the salesgirl gave me a 10% discount for that. But i seriously hate their 'take it or leave it' attitude!!

After buying my top, we then went to Sushi Tei at VivoCity for our dinner. But before queuing at Sushi Tei, we went into Toys 'R' Us to look at those machines whereby you insert coins and turn the knob, then the toy in the egg case will roll down (I don't know what is that machine called). Deardear saw one of the machine with the following pic on the machine and he wondered what's that... so I told him to try since it's only $1.

I told him I like the pink colour one called Heroine... so he passed me the coin then I inserted it into the machine and turned the knob... The egg dropped down and Deardear opened it. Tadah!! I got it!!! It's the pink one!!! So heng!!

Deardear said he wants the black or grey one, called Zero or Enemy... So I told him to try again later after dinner. And we queued to be seated at Sushi Tei.

We sat at the bar seats and I saw this cute guy working at the sushi bar... Dear also said that he is cute!! Hehee!! Then he even caught my eyeballs following him... so he said he will bio the auntie working in the sushi bar too!! Deardear said that maybe I can write this in my blog "Today I had an enjoyable time with my boyfriend at Sushi Tei bio-ing another guy!!" Hahahaaa!!!

After dinner, we went back to Toys 'R' Us again. This time Deardear inserted the coin and turned the knob... Guess what he got?? He got what he wanted as well!! Hehee... Wonder if it's luck or just coincidence...

Then we continued shopping till the shop closes and went to Chinatown Bee Cheng Hiang (Mei Zhen Xiang) to buy bak kwa for our families. After that, Deardear decided to go to West Coast Park, but when we arrived there, there was alot of people. So we went to Sentosa instead. We strolled along Siloso and passed by Cafe Del Mar then strolled back to the car park again. Took some pictures there too!!

Princessy Nails For CNY

I have always been hoping to get my nails done like Jolin's... But it's always so expensive. After much consideration, I decided to get it done for this CNY since I saved up abit during my previous job.

Did some research online and found out from CozyCot's forum that there's a manicurist named Dawn at Bugis Village who knows how to design nails like those of Jolin and Ayumi! Immediately I smsed the manicurist to make an appointment with her on last Thursday. She then replied saying that she will be able to take my appointment at 4pm on that same day.

I got changed and then went down to Bugis Village, had some difficulty looking for the shop as there are too many stores inside. However, I still managed to find the place. I was abit taken aback by the size of the shop at first, as it is quite small. However, since I was already there and Dawn even smsed and called me to asked if I was reaching, I decided to just go for it!

Met and told Dawn that I wanted to do a full set french acrylic extensions plus blink blink nailart that looks like Jolin. I also asked her how much will everything costs? She said full set french acrylic extensions cost $75, the blink nailart costs $50 and there will be an additional $8 charge during CNY period. Total summing up to $133. I accepted the deal since I was already there...

Felt really excited while seeing Dawn extending my nails. It seems really interesting as this is my first time doing it!!! We also had small talks during the whole process... While doing the extensions, Dawn already told me that she knew how she would be designing my blink nailart using Swarovski crystals. She even ensures me that everyone will take notice of my nails during CNY!!!

It took Dawn almost 2 hours to do the extensions, then she even gave me a toilet break after that, before she continued with the nailart!! I must say she provides good customer service at reasonable rates!!

After I came back from the toilet and also called Deardear to inform him about my nails, Dawn then continued with the designing of the nailart on my nails.

After about an hour... TADAH...

Blink blink nails!!!!!! With lots of crystals!!!!!!

Dawn told me to take the MRT home after this as others will definitely look at my nails when I hold onto the bars in the train... which I did. When I was transferring and waiting for another train at City Hall MRT station, I heard some gossiping in Mandarin between 2 young girls who were standing behind me!

I heard one of them whispering to the other saying "I'll tell you later...", then I looked into the reflection on the glass panel, saw the other girl looking at my nails saying "her nails are very nice hor", then they continued discussing whether my nails are real or fake and went on to tell each other how they cannot do things with such long nails...

In my heart I was thinking "of coz nice lah!!! $133 leh!!!" but I was indeed very proud of my nails!!! And even folded my arms purposely so that I could show my nails to them and all the people standing behind me!!! AHAHAHAAA!!!

Anyway, eavedropping is kinda fun!!! Hehee... But hopefully all are positive comments!

These few days, it's so irresistable for me to look at my own nails, especially whenever there's light shining onto them coz they are soooooo blink!!!!!!

LOVE THEM!!! But I hope the crystals will not fall off before CNY!

The Weird Feathered Creature...

Was sitting in my living eating my brunch (breakfast cum lunch) yesterday... Then I saw this specie of bird resting on top of one of the balconies opposite my block... I was curious so I took a pic of it coz I think it looked kinda unique yet scary and ugly to me and very much bigger than the normal type of birds such as sparrows, mynahs and the green humming birds!!

Think I find it scary coz it kept looking at my direction!!

I observed that it sat there for quite some time and didn't move much... When I was taking a picture of it, I was also abit afriad that the people staying in the next block would think that I am taking pictures of them instead since they could not see the bird from their side. Thus, I quickly zoomed in and snapped only 1 picture! Hehee...

After zoomed in...

Hmmm... So anyone knows what bird this is??
