Jolin's New Album - Butterfly

Jolin has changed her record company to Warner Music and her new album will be out real soon on 27 March 2009!! Hmm... I was searching for her new song on Youtube and I found this new music video. The song is called 大丈夫. I think the male singer in the video looks alot like Wilber Pan... At first I thought he is Wilber, however he is not, coz this guy is called Nick! I still cannot find the difference in their looks, even he sounds like him... Maybe he is Wilber's long lost brother... Kekeke... =P

My New Hairstyle

I grew sick of my long fringe, so decided to snip it to my favourite slated fringe once again... Hehee... I have changed a new hairstyle before I returned back to work at my previous department! I showed my hairstylist pictures of Hebe and told him I want to cut my hair like that but I do not want one side to be long and the other side to be shorter. I told him I wanted something like this but with both sides of the same length coz I want to keep my hair long, and this is what I get...

I like my new hairstyle very much bcoz I am sick of the Posh Beckham bob hairstyle. At least, I think I look fresher now.

M.A.C Hello Kitty Cosmetics

As a Hello Kitty fan, how can I not know about the Hello Kitty range of cosmetics from M.A.C?? Hehee... every Hello Kitty lover will love this... but I would say not everyone will like the cosmetic but it is the packaging that will make people tempted to buy their cosmetic.

As for myself, I used to buy my lipstick from M.A.C and this is really the only item I have bought from them... coz other than my lipstick, I only use cosmetics from I Nuovi and Loreal. And so I only bought the lipstick from this Hello Kitty range. I don't think their lipstick is good coz many people find the texture too dry. As for me, I will apply a layer of lipgloss before I put on their lipstick. I like it bcoz of their shades.

And the following is one of the colours that I have bought. In fact, I bought 2 lipsticks from M.A.C. One of them is shown below - a very girly pinkish colour (Fashion Mews), the other one is of a nude beigh colour (Fresh Brew) that will make myself look very pale...

Anyway, I am so angry with that stupid male salesperson from M.A.C Vivocity! I told him that I wanted the 2 shades of colours which was chosen from the Hello Kitty range. At first he told me that there are stocks for the 2 colours and then he went to take the stocks from the M.A.C store. When I proceeded to the cashier in the store, he then showed me the 2 lipsticks to ensure that the colours are correct. So I asked why is one of them is not with the Hello Kitty packaging? He told me that the beigh one with the Hello Kitty packaging is out of stock. So he took the one with the normal M.A.C packaging... And so I asked him - How about in other outlets? He then said all the outlets does not have stock for it anymore coz Hello Kitty range is only limited at Tangs M.A.C.

So I proceeded to make my payment for the 2 lipsticks since I like both the colours and there are already no more stock for the beigh one with the Hello Kitty packaging... After I have made my payment, I asked one of the female cashiers just to reconfirm again - Since this range is limited, does it mean that once items are sold out, there will not be anymore stocks left in Singapore?? Guess what, the female cashier said the new stocks will be in at Tangs Orchard M.A.C. roadshow on the following Friday!! What the @#$%!!! It was too late... coz that stupid salesman has already cheated me to buy the other colour that does not have the Hello Kitty packaging! I was so pissed off!!! >.<

Singapore Entertainment Awards 2009

This entry is kinda outdated already... Anyway, about 3 weeks back, Fang and I attended the Singapore Entertainment Awards (新加坡e乐大赏) held at the Marina Floating Platform Grandstand as Fang has got free tickets from her company!!

The awards night wasn't very exciting... It was kinda boring throughout only until the last 15-20mins when the 'small pig' (Xiaozhu) performed. The seats were so uncomfortable especially for people with no backbone like me will find it very tiring to sit straight for the whole 3 hours as there is nothing behind the seat to lean on. Hehee... I sat until my buttock was aching. Furthermore, we were seated quite far from the stage, we could not even see the face of the singers on stage... and most of the time I was looking at the projector screen.

Well, I think most people didn't get enough of Mr. Pig's performance. I wanted to watch him perform more, but he only sang 2 songs. But then again, it is still better than nothing. Thanks to Fang for asking me to go with her.

Besides Xiaozhu, there were also other celebrities like Raymond Lam, JJ Lin, Joi Chua, Derrick Ho, Kaira Gong, Stefanie Sun, Energy and Olivia Ong, etc.

Hated the performance by Royston Tan bcoz of the '881 ah yo ah yo' song that he sang... that song made the awards night like a getai, so low-class!! I wonder how will the Taiwanese celebrities think of that performance?? Yucks!!

Back To My Previous Department...

I have not blogged for so long... this is bcoz I was in a shitty situation after transferring to the new department. Many things has happened and I did not have the mood to blog during that period of time. Anyway in short, there were many miscommunications on my transfer and I only found out about them after I have been transferred to the new department.

Actually I did blogged about what happened since my first day reporting to the new department. However, I decided not to publish it bcoz I needed to be discreet about it. Anyway, time was needed to rectify things and these problems have been solved now. After being on loan for 3 weeks instead of permanently being transferred to the new department, I am currently back to my former position, former department.

Quite silly right? Choosing to transfer out, yet in the end I still chose to return to what I was previously doing. At least I learnt to appreciate what I am doing now.

I thank God for answering to my prayer. And I thank my Deardear for praying for me too. I am really so glad to be back in my former department which gives me a better sense of belonging at work! =)
