Singapore Flyer - So Near Yet So Far

The Singapore Flyer... opened to corporate but not to the public yet. Deardear brought me to Raffles Boulevard to take a closer look at the capsule.

My Brother's R.O.M.

Hmm... CNY's over... My boss will be back from her 2 weeks of block leaves on this coming Monday... Everything is now back to normal... It's also the end of my happy fun days for the moment!

Received a sms from a friend yesterday... Yup!! She's getting engaged soon... Not sure if she mind me to reveal her name so I better not mention it here. Everyone seems to be getting married around me... I feel like time flies so fast!! On one hand, I think I am getting old and hope that me too can get married soon... but on the other, I am not even prepared for it - no stable job and income (coz I hate my current job and want a change again! =P), no savings - no $$$ to buy a flat and no $$$ to hold a wedding banquet, I am just not prepared yet!! Wonder if my turn will ever come??? Hahahaa!!!

Anyway, Dear and I attended my brother's ROM on last Friday (15th February 2008)! He also went with me for the food tasting at Shangri-La Hotel where my brother is going to hold his wedding banquet. Our family met Shuping's family... Felt kinda awkward though... like so weird to sit and eat at the same table with people we do not know. Shuping's family seems ok to me but I think her aunty and cousin were so extra and busybody. I say that they are KPO bcoz they like want to get involved in everything... they gave lots of comment during the food tasting, told Shuping and my brother to change so many different dishes just bcoz they themselves did not like it! They did not like the food does not mean that others or rather my family does not like it as well what! They also talked about the dining arrangements for the actual wedding day and said lots more things which I think they should not be the ones getting involved. In fact, I just do not like her cousin's face - she resembles Shuping!! Felt like slapping her whenever she opened her mouth! I guessed she gave me the same feeling when I first got to know Shuping! I think they are all borned with such fussy and busybody characters, and always think that they are big shots!! (I hope no one from her family reads my blog! =P)

My main motive is to upload their ROM photos here. However, I ended up complaining again... hahaa... coz I simply cannot stand them! Anyway, I should not be bothered about what happened as long as my brother is happy. But sometimes, it makes me wonder if they are actually taking advantage of my brother. =P

Happy Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day!

I know my greetings to all is kinda late for CNY. =P But anyway, today is the 7th day of lunar new year So Happy Ren Ri to everyone!

I have taken leave from today to Friday... My initial plan was to celebrate my anniversary with Dear today, Valentine's Day tomorrow and brother's R.O.M. on Friday... too bad Dear could only take leave on Friday... so I decided to take leave just to stay home to relax... coz I'm still in CNY mood. Kekeke... But I think I will begin to hate the days starting from next Monday onwards bcoz there will be no more PH till 21st March which is Good Friday. Eventually, our lifestyle will start to repeat itself daily again bcoz there will be nothing else but work, eat and sleep, work, eat and sleep, work, eat and sleep and it can go on and on (with abit of other activities on weekends lah)... Aiyah, in other words, life is just boring lah...

Well, I have watched Kung Fu Dunk with some friends on last Saturday... Knowing that it is a lame show but still we went to watch it... I guess most people just wanna see Jay Chou but for me, I just wanna know the story so that I will not be left out when others talk about it... Anyway I love watching comedies... they are always lame but funny... I like! Hehee!

As for my comments on the movie... I think it's not very very nice lah coz the slamdunk actions are overly exaggerated... but it was exciting to watch the 2 basketball teams played against each other, knowing that you want Jay's team to win the match! Right?? And just like Initial D, there's a new song to the movie called 周大侠.

Here's the music video... Take note of the lyrics... it says something like he no longer sells toufu (in Initial D) but he is now learning kungfu (in Kung Fu Dunk)... Haaa!

Okie, that's all for now. Here's wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day in advance! ;)
