Went to watch 2 funny movies with Dear last week - "The Benchwarmers" on last Thursday and "She's The Man" on last Saturday. We had a hilarious good time in the movie theatre!! Both the movies were SOOOOOO FUNNY!!! Didn't expect them to be that funny though...
Actually, I prefer "She's The Man" bcoz it is a love story, a romantic comedy. The story is about a teenage girl (Viola) posing as her missing twin brother (Sebastian), who heads over to his elite boarding school and disguises herself as him. She then proceeds to fall for one of her soccer teammates. Little does she realize she's not the only one with romantic troubles, as both of them get in the middle of a series of intermingled love affairs.

In the movie, there was this part which showed that gals are allowed to take part in a carnival game called the "Kissing Booth" and I find it quite interesting! It's actually a kissing game whereby the gals would take turns to be the kissing partner sitting at the kissing booth waiting, while the guys would need to buy tickets to queue for their turn to kiss the gal at the booth!! So fun!! Of coz, provided that all the guys queueing up are handsome la!! Kekeke... Imagine those nerds from "The Benchwarmers" queueing up and waiting to kiss you... ERRRGH!!! Hahaa!!
Anyway, "The Benchwarmers" is a comedy about three guys who, all their lives, have been living in the shadow of bullies and are determined not to take it anymore. Now they must train to take on the most offensive and meanest Little League teams.
Actually the show is funny bcoz the actors are idiotic... In fact, the 3 guys which were mentioned earlier consist of the first guy (a normal guy) who used to be a bully during his school days but has already turned over a new leaf, plus another guy with a stupid mushroon hairstyle who has got a brother (also with the same mushroom hairstyle) who always thinks that the sun is a monster (actually the brother is abit siao one... that makes the show funny mah!! Hahaa!!) and the third guy is a nerd (always wearing a yellow cycling/rollerblading/whatever helmet wherever he goes)... more like a dumb ass! Hehee!!
