Goodbye W1 And Welcome T70

Tadah... Here's what I have got from my Deardear!! Something I wanted to buy long ago... a pink Sony Cybershot T70! It has got touch screen function! So cool!! And it has half the slimness of my current Sony Cybershot W1!! I think maybe it is time for blackie W1 to go... anyone interested to buy a second hand digital camera??? Hahaa! Nah... I still have feelings for it ok... coz it has been with me for 3 years! I am greedy... I will keep both my blackie and pinkie!! =D

Anyway, I was so surprise when I opened my christmas present. It has never came across my mind that he will buy this for me... I still thought he will buy me some Ed Hardy stuff but I was wrong! Hehee... Thanks Deardear! Muacks!!!

Christmas Celebration In My Office

Hohoho... Merry Christmas to all!! Celebrated my christmas eve afternoon with my colleagues this year! We had to work till 3pm even on christmas eve while others knocked off at 12 or 1pm. But it's ok coz we actually only worked until 12pm. Then our christmas lunch started as the management catered food for us!

Oh yah, when I arrived at work, there were already many presents on my desk! I think it's true that the people here buy christmas gifts for everyone! Luckily I was prepared and had also bought presents for majority!

So at 12.15pm, we went to the pantry to take out food then we all gathered in our own cliques while eating. Then we realized our AVP was kinda left out coz no one sat with her... but no one bothers anyway. =P

Ok after eating, we started our gift exchange session. Everyone took turns... So I got a present from Tanleen and I gave out the present that I bought to Perlim. Glad that she liked the present.

Well, we sat around to chit chat, open presents and take photos while waiting for time to past... We even had a toasting session with the other 2 departments where Jonathan, the uncle, shouted 'YIAM SENG'!!! It was so funny coz he was the only one shouting and also the loudest! Furthermore, not once but thrice!! So whenever he started shouting the 'yiam', everyone started laughing!! He thought he is at a wedding dinner or what??! Hahaaa!! Damn dumb lah!

Pictures In Taiwan (Day 1 & 2)

Arrival at Taoyuan Airport on 9 Dec 2007, around 8pm... Yeah! We were welcomed by F4 wor!!! Kekeke...

Checking in to our first hotel in Taoyuan - Chuto Plaza Hotel

The first thing I bought in Taiwan... Le Tea apple tea drink! Just wanna try it since I used to see the advertisements by Rainie Yang and Fish Leong on MTV channel!

Checking out of our messy hotel room in the next morning (10 Dec 2007) at 7am. Hehee...

This was what I ate for breakfast provided by the hotel.



At the hotel fish pond.... There's a fish food vending machine... NT$10 for a box of fish food if you wanna feed the fishes in the pond.

Ok, now we are on our way to the first destination - Chiu Fen (meaning 9 portions)... It's a small village up in the mountains, a new tourist attraction. The famous food there is the yam balls... called 'orr yee' in hokkien.

Here we have arrived at Chiu Fen... a long stretch of shops leading to a viewing area at the end for phototaking.

After shopping at Chiu Fen, it's lunchtime... The tourguide brought us to a restaurant made of recycled metals! The building structure looks very weird and unique. It's called Wu Jiao Chuan Ban... near Miramar Shopping Mall (a shopping mall with a ferris wheel).

Our next destination will be Taipei 101! Hmm... didn't take much photos there coz it's just a normal shopping centre like Paragon inside. I used the 40mins to go to Jolin's manicure shop - Oops! J... Heee... It's actually 10-15 mins walk away from Taipei 101 but coz we only had 40mins to spare so we took a cab over to Eslite (Cheng Ping Xin Yi Dian) instead. It was so rush!

At Eslite (Cheng Ping Xin Yi Dian)... It's a 5-storeys high bookstore. Oops! J is located on the 6th storey, together with H Park Hair Salon.

These are my possessions from Oops! J... And there's still alot more I wanted to buy actually coz the colours all look so tempting to me! But it costs me NT$1850 for 5 bottles of nail polish (approx. S$18.50 per bottle).

Only after going to Oops! J, I felt that my trip to Taiwan was worth it! Hahaa... So what's next? More shopping!! We went to Wu Fen Pu... a place selling wholesale fashion apparels. Like I mentioned earlier, I didn't manage to buy much coz it was a Monday... a day when they only sell to retailers. Wu Fen Pu is just across Songshan station.

We gathered back at the bus at 5pm and proceeded to a Shabu Shabu restaurant for dinner. It's just like eating at Seoul Garden but of a lower standard bcoz the restaurant does not look very inviting. Like abit old old dirty dirty one... You can tell from the BBQ pan and pot - it looks old! Hahaa... =P

After dinner, it was about 6plus... the sky in Taiwan was already dark like 8pm in Singapore. The weather has turned slightly colder but not very very cold... I would say it's similar to Sydney's weather. We proceeded to our second hotel to check-in. It's called Ta Shee Resort... known as the place where they filmed Meteor Garden (Liu Xing Hua Yuan). I like this hotel coz the room is cosy and the bathroom is very spacious! The tourist guide said that our Minister Mentor - Mr. LKY also stayed there when he visited Taiwan... not sure how true it is but 1 thing for sure is that this is the only hotel among the 5 hotels I have stayed in with Channel News Asia TV channel.

Eating ice cream since there's nothing else to do in the hotel... Sesame flavour! Yummy yummy!

That's all for day 1 and 2... Photos for day 3 and more will be updated when I have the time! Just day 1 and 2's pictures took me almost a day to upload. Sigh!! I am so tired now...
