Places For Ice Cream Lovers

After sending my parents back, Deardear then brought me to the newly opened Ben & Jerry's restaurant at Dampsey.

It's a cosy place to relax and chit-chat with friends, but too bad they close at 1am. We shared a banana split, choosing the 3 flavours - Strawberry Cheesecake, Cherry Garcia and New York Super Fudge Chunk, topped with colourful candy rice and mini M&Ms! Yummy!!!

Next to Ben & Jerry's is a small cafe called California (CA) serving lunch only. Although the place us closed at night, they are open to Ben & Jerry's customers. In fact, we were sitting there instead of in Ben & Jerry's coz Ben & Jerry's was packed!

Apart from this new Ben & Cherry's restaurant, we also found a new ice cream place at Holland Village a few weeks ago!! It's called Cold Rock Ice Creamery.

You will first have to choose 2 flavours of the ice cream and then 1 or more mix-ins from a wide selection of items ranging from chocolates bars like Snickers, Kit Kats, Twix, Bounty, etc., to candies like Nerds, M&MS, Maltesers, Gummi Bears, etc., to fruits, nuts, brownies and fudges... many things to choose from!

And after choosing all that, the staff will then pour out all the items onto the cold rock which looks like a frozen piece of marble platform to mix everthing together. That is the end product that you will be eating!! So... whether the ice cream tastes good or like shit, it really depends on your own creativity!! Hahaa!!

For more info, you can check out their website at

Introducing A New Fashion Blog

Do you remember the blog by Cornfucius or rather Mr. Damone (now known as Marstyle)?? He has previously closed down his blog, but now he's back with a new blog called Decorate My Life!

Well, this is a blog that talks about fashion, home decor, ingenius designs and beautiful things in life. I don't know if I'm right on this... but I personally think that this blog will attract the attention of more metro guys!!! Hehee... Coz this was my first impression when I first read it and still didn't know that this blog belongs to him (although I suspected). But of coz, this blog is not juz recommended to guys but to everyone, especially people who likes to keep up with the latest trends!!

Ok, so for people who miss Cornfucius... here is it... presenting... Decorate My Life! I have also added a link to his blog on my right side bar under Prince Marstyle.

Blog Updates - Royal Pet and Polling Corner Added

I have added 2 new items on the right side bar of my blog recently - Royal Pet and Polling Corner. In case you cannot see it, you need to scroll down the RIGHT side bar lah...

Anyway, hope my blog readers can help to feed and play with my royal pet rabbit 'Cotton' whenever you guys visit my blog... Ok?? Hehee...

As for the polling corner, the idea came to me bcoz I really cannot decide which job to choose even after thinking and thinking and thinking... So I hope your votes will somehow give me an idea of which job to choose. However, my final decision will not be based on the voting result as the result will only be used as a reference.

Oh by the way, I will change the polling question from time to time... But I still don't know what question to ask next... Maybe if you guys have any questions in mind, do let me know so I can post the question on my polling corner. Hehee... Do keep an eye for the next polling question k! And thanks for voting! =)

Follow Your Interest Or Go For Money??

Have you ever been in a situation when you need to choose 1 out of 2 or more different job offers at the same time?

For my case, I have 2 options to choose from... One that pays high basic with good benefits and 5 days work week (Monday to Friday), while the other is with a low basic salary with not-so-high commission scheme, normal benefits and working retail hours (rotational shifts and must work on weekends).

My concern here is that I am not really interested in the high salaried position although its remuneration package is really good! As in, it's just a normal administrative deskbound job... very routined. However, the lower salaried position needs me to sell packages in a retail spa/manicure environment - something that I like and has more interest in.

I know many people will definitely choose the one that pays higher! It's obvious!! But the question is will there be happiness although you may be earning alot but not enjoying what you are doing everyday?? I guessed this has something to do with the mentality of Singaporeans. Due to the high standards of living, nothing else beats the money factor!!! People rather choose to earn more money than to lead a happier life.

I wonder how many people will choose to earn lesser but work in a job that they have the interest in doing... For me, I am stuck in a dilemma once again... Bcoz I would very much want to choose the lower salaried job so that I could do and learn about the things I like - manicure... but with opinions from family and friends, many will definitely think that this is not a wise decision as they do not see a future in the career prospect of the job... And with such influences, I am often easily influenced to go with everyone else's choice instead of my own choice.

This has always been the case eversince secondary school days, I choose the accounting class during sec. 3 bcoz my parents think that choosing between the art and accounts major, accounting has got better prospect. But what now, I am not even interested in accounting jobs! I rather work in fashion or advertising industry! Thus, I should have studied arts instead last time!!

Then graduating to polytechnic, everyone gave me the impression that majoring in business management is the best choice... coz only people who passed their english with a C6 and above during 'O' levels are allowed to take up the business course in poly! Other than that, schools like NAFA and Laselle were then considered places for lousy students! And nobody ever told me about other courses like mass comm, etc. So what now?? I personally think that not just art or mass comm students are cool, so are their jobs!! Now without the knowledge, I really have difficulties to get myself into a marketing communications job.

With a business diploma, specializing in retail and travel, again I had difficulties getting a job I like. Had little choices as a fresh diploma grad, so started my career path in customer service... It was an unintentional and really bad start!! Bcoz it seems like once you get into customer service, you are stuck in there forever... When I applied for office jobs, majority of the employers labelled me with the 'LACK OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE' sticker. And this was why I chose HR as my major in my business degree course instead of marketing (coz in poly, my retail modules were similar to the marketing modules, so I thought majoring in marketing will also lead me back into customer service, thus choosing HR as a result)... Well, it was a bad move again!! Coz HR isn't what I like at all - it's so dry and boring, however I initially just thought that it could be a stepping stone for me to get out of the customer service field. Then again, I was wrong...

So here I am, don't know which direction to go now... Coz listening to others often lead me to do the things I don't like doing... But I also do not have the relevant exposure or knowledge to work in the job I want... Since now I am given the opportunity to do something I like, should I push it away or just go ahead with it despite the low salary, working on weekends and has little career prospect??

On the other hand, I also have my concerns about not hitting sales targets and not earning enough commission to cover the low basic pay! Furthermore... Like I say, with the high stardards of living in Singapore and being a spendthrift shopaholic, salary is also an important factor to me!! Hehee!!

So how??? Arrrrrggh!!! =S

More Good Movies - Die Hard 4.0 and Transformers

'Die Hard 4.0' is nice!! Went to catch the sneak preview on last Saturday! I didn't watch the previous 3 parts of 'Die Hard' and was quite reluctant to watch it with Dear initially, but the movie turned out to be so exciting!! In fact, you don't need to watch the last 3 parts to understand part 4 coz they are not linked at all. It has an interesting storyline with lots of actions in the scenes on how Bruce Willis escaped and chased after the bad guys!!! Maggie Q's so chio, but she died in the show... As for why she died, you watch the movie yourself lah.

Yesterday, we went to watch 'Transformers'. Although I am not a fan of Transformer, but I like the movie! Coz it's more than meets the eye!!! THE AUTOBOTS ARE SOOOO COOOOOL - NICE CARS!!! And I didn't know robots can pee... Ahahaaa!!! That was so funny!!! Hate the Decepticons coz they are evil and ugly robots!!! =P Anyway, I have this feeling that I do not want the yellow Chevrolet Bumblebee to die in the show... coz after watching till the last part, I somehow have a feeling for it just like the main leads! Oh yah, I think this movie should be watched in the cinemas than on DVD... coz it sounds better... By the way, there were twice when the movie screen went totally black, leaving only the sounds on when the soldiers were fighting one of the Decepticons... Not sure if it was due to projection error or it was meant to be like that, like what Fang said, maybe the director wants us to get a feel of what's happening on screen! Hahaaa!!

Ok, that's all I have to say about the 2 movies, cannot reveal too much. The rest is up to you guys to decide whether to watch it or not... My next must-watch movie will be 'Harry Porter and the Order of the Phoenix'!

Anyway, yesterday before the movie, Deardear and I went to Ikea restaurant for our lunch... Had cravings for the meatballs! Hee... Then we walked over to Queensway to collect Deardear's tennis rackets. After that we went to fetch Fang from Labrador Adverture Centre and proceeded to VivoCity.

We walked past Toys 'R' Us, so I went in to take a look at the toy egg machines! There were 2 uncles refilling the machines at that time... Many little gals were playing with the machines that has the mini version of the toy egg machines with Sanrio characters, but after getting the toy egg which contains the character that they did not wish for, they all crowded around the uncles to request for an exchange. Me too did the same thing with the help of Fang, just like the other small kids!! Kekeke... At first I got the U*SA*HA*NA character but later I exchanged for the Little Twins Star one... Anyway, after fixing everything together, it looks like this...

Now I have an urge to get all the other characters coz actually, they can all be joined together like the real machines stacking on top of one another or placed in a row....

After ti-gam ti-gam, we then went to the Asian Kitchen to eat again!... Dear and I shared a bowl of hot and spicy noodle... while Fang ordered some pork chop or chicken noodle... Then we went to Candy Empire for awhile before proceeding to the movie theatre. Heheee... They sell Hello Kitty marshmellow pop!! So cute!!! Asked Deardear to buy for me... Hahaaa!! But I cannot bear to eat it leh... coz it's too cute already!!!

Oh yah, that stupid GV staff even checked my Candy Empire plastic bag before I entered the theatre and said that I cannot bring in outside food... so she proceeded to confiscate my whole plastic bag to be kept by them first and told me to collect it from them after the movie!! I was taken aback when she first said she wanted to check my plastic bag. And after that when she said I cannot bring it in, I sort of got offended and angry coz I don't want them to break the icing on my Hello Kitty marshmellow pop! (I know I shouldn't be making a fuss about such a small matter but it's my Hello Kitty!!! My favourite Hello Kitty you know!!! Ok ok, I'm just being childish alright! Bleh!! =P)

If I knew this was to happen, I would have kept that plastic bag in my own bag manz!! That's so ridiculous!!! It's not like I am going to eat the candies in their theatre lor!!! Why don't they do a check on all other customers' handbag and pockets to see if they carry any sweets or candies with them too??? Candies also cannot bring in??! Also not like bringing in hamburgers or char kway teow or some other heavy meals!! Now talking about it even irritates me!! Luckily they did not break my Hello Kitty icing, if not I will sure kick up a big fuss about it! Hmmph!!

Movies, Clubbing, Suntanning...

Went out with Deardear and his friends on last Saturday for dinner at Heeren Village... After that, we went to catch a movie at Cineleisure. Hmmm... What movie did we watch?? Oh yah, we watched 'Hot Fuzz' - a funny but super lame show. Actually I think the storyline is kinda ridiculous and dumb!

Deardear and I watched 'Nancy Drew' yesterday night, it was very much better and worth the money to watch compared to 'Hot Fuzz'. At least there's more logic to it!! Furthermore, the cast looks more soothing to the eyes!! Deardear told me that the main female actress is Julia Roberts' niece... I think she's pretty and looks abit like Avril Lavigne. There's also a cute guy in the movie!!! Kekeke... His name is Max Thieriot (refer to photo below). The other actress I like is Rachael Leigh Cook... I remember her coz she acted in 'She's All That' during my poly days. The movie is nice!

Anyway, after the movie on Saturday night, Dear and I joined Fang and Eileen at St. James to club!! Didn't stay there for too long coz Eileen left earlier... And we intended to go to the beach on the next day. The 3 of us left around 2plus midnight and went to Tong Shui Cafe at River Valley for supper. The food they have are quite similar to those from Hong Kong Cafe.

So according to plan, we went to Sentosa on Sunday! The weather was not very good... it rained for awhile in the afternoon... but after that the sun was good!! Too bad Dear had to leave earlier for work on that day. Oh yah, there were 10 of us that day... It has been quite some time since we have so many people going to the beach together!! Bernard must be happy to have a group of people going to the beach with him again! Ahahaa!! But not everyone stayed till the sun went down...

Around 6plus, we went to shower and proceeded to Wine to look for Dear... and to try their BBQ food! The BBQ chicken was nice, however not very filling coz the portion was quite small... We ordered the as usuals too! After eating, I felt really tired and sleepy, so we left and went home around 9plus... By the time I reached home it was 10pm, I changed and fell asleep immediately...

Does No Relevant Working Experience = No Job Offer??

Just when I am feeling really desperate for a job, I took my courage to call up the companies which I have went to for interviews 2 weeks ago, to ask if the position that I have applied for has been filled.

Actually, all along I was told by my mother and brother to give a follow-up call about 1 week to the companies after the job interview so as to show my interest for the job. But I was always afriad to do so bcoz I felt that it is so embarassing to be so thick-skin and call up the company when obviously, they did not call me means they did not shortlist me.

Now that I have tried giving the companies a follow-up call, I realized that it wasn't that difficult and embarassing as what I previously thought. Instead, I felt proud of myself for doing it bcoz at least I know whether they have shortlisted someone, whether the position is filled or still open, or even why I was not shortlisted... so that I know if it is time to give up my wait for that particular position which I was wishing for... although it does not feel good to know that the position I like has been taken...

I am currently quite disappointed that one of the position which I was hoping for has been filled by someone else through their staff referral... Sigh... After calling up a few companies, I found out the main reason why I was not selected for the positions!! It is always bcoz they have found someone who has more experiences than me!! This is so irritating!!! Coz although employers always say that they do not mind to train fresh grads or someone with no experience though candidates with relevant experiences would be preferred, in the end they always select the people with experiences!!! In the first place, why give the fresh grads or candidates without experience false hope???!

After going to so many interviews but not being selected due to my lack of experience, I cannot help but to conclude that people without relevant experiences would never be able to gain the relevant experience bcoz they are not even given the opportunity to pick up the relevant skills, right??? In other words, as long as there are candidates with experiences competing with candidates without experience, candidates without experience will never stand a chance to get into the job they want even with their interest and willingness to learn! So eventhough employers may emphasize that having the right attitude is essential if you do not have the experience, I think this factor seems to be totally forgotten and ignored no matter how good the candidate's attitude and qualities are once they get to interview someone else with relevant experiences... Bcoz in the eyes of the employers, relevant experiences beat all other qualities!

Once again, I feel that I have wasted my time attending all the previous interviews!!! Many people think that the current job market is very good! That's just what they see on the surface... the actual fact is that the job market is good for employers and people with experiences, but not for fresh grads and people like me... bcoz with so many job candidates with and without experiences competing with one another, employers are at the advantage to choose the best candidate for themselves!

Frankly speaking, I sometimes feel kinda paiseh for blogging about my job search process and interview experiences here, bcoz I know some of my friends read my blog and they know that I have been jobless for so long... This is definitely not something to be proud about, but I still blog about it bcoz these are things which I cannot say during the interview!!!

And if you realized, I have not been blogging alot about myself recently... this is bcoz there's nothing much to blog about and nothing interesting happening recently... My current lifestyle is all about applying jobs, going for interviews and waiting for results... Besides this, I will go out with Deardear and friends over the weekends... That's about it... so... I am just living a super boring life now... Other than that, I can only say that I really need a job!!!!!! (And I know that I have been saying this since very long ago until now I am still saying it! =P)

Upon the arrival of Jolin on 星光大道 red carpet, she was awarded with 金曲答铃歌手奖. (Sorry, the video clip has been removed and I did not manage to find a similar clip to replace it... Sigh...)

Opening ceremony with Jolin's 'Dance in the Ring of Fire' performance!! It wasn't what I expected though... According to what I heard on the media, I thought that she was going to jump thru some fire ring or what... But nevermind, the performance was still nice!

A Funny Thai Commercial - Smooth E Babyface Foam

Met up with Fang on Monday night for dinner and happened to mention to her about this thai commercial that is quite funny. The product brand is called 'Smooth E'... That's why whenever I see the word 'smoothie' on food menu, it reminds me of this commercial! Anyway, since not many of my friends are aware of this commercial, I have decided to put it up here. There are 4 parts to it... Enjoy!

Smooth E... smooth e smooth e......

I Hate Group Interviews!!!

I have attended 7 interviews last week... 5 of them were marketing related, 1 was a recruiter post and 1 was a total waste of time!!

Why a waste of time?? Bcoz it took me 2 hours for the interview, a group interview somemore... and it turned out to be a sales job! Hate this kind of interview coz I feel like I was being conned to the interview. In fact, I have experienced this type of interview method before previously, and the companies were located at the same area - Tanjong Pagar Road. Actually I had this fear that it might turned out to be the same as the one I have previously attended even before I went for the interview... And I kept telling myself that it would be an one-to-one interview like any other job interviews so as not to put aeroplane for the interview appointment, but when I arrived and was walking up the stairs to the company, I already felt that something was wrong!!

I heard the sound of television, which was exactly the same thing I experienced the last time when I went for that group interview. When I reached the second storey, there were 2 people sitting behind a desk welcoming me and they offered me an application form to fill up. In front of them, there were already 6 people sitting on the sofa watching 'Friends' while waiting for the interview! I knew that I was 'conned' to the interview again this time!! Immediately, I knew it was going to be a group interview bcoz there were so many people waiting and how can that be possible if it's an one-to-one interview... I felt like leaving yet I don't know how to... I had no choice but stayed throughout the group interview!!

The group interview started with a topic for us to brainstorm, and then we were being interviewed one by one based on the things we wrote on our application form and had to answer to the questions asked by the interviewer. After that, he went on with a small lecture on marketing and sales... Then to the Q&A session. Never did I expect it to last 2 whole hours!!! Wasted my time manz!!! I was 1 hour late for my KBox Buffet appointment with Vanessa that day!!!

Friday, May 18, 2007

Hey, I Attract Weirdos... =S

It's Friday again!! Yeah!! Gonna meet up with Vanessa for karaoke again!! We'll be going to KBox CineLeisure tomorrow after she knocks off from work... Gonna have our dinner there as well - KBuffet! Oops! That reminds me... I forgot to call up to book a room for tomorrow... =P

Anyway, tomorrow I have another marketing job interview to attend in the afternoon... I just hope it's not going to be another false hope for me.

Well, just an update about last Friday... Tammie, Fang and I actually went clubbing at MOS last week!! Tammie had to leave earlier coz her bf went to fetch her, so only Fang and I stayed later. This is my first time clubbing with only 1 friend, but I still enjoyed it! Maybe bcoz I prefer dancing to R&B and hip-hop music, same as Fang! Too bad Eileen did not join us...

There was this group of teenagers dancing next to us! There were a few gals who danced until very hiong and I think they danced very well! There were 2 of them who are quite chio... Caught this guy sitting at the table next to them kept staring at one of them... Very suay, this same guy all of a sudden approached me and offered to buy me a drink!! I don't know how to react and I hate it when guys approach me in the club... so I told him a straight NO! But he persuaded me and even asked me to help him, which I don't know to help him for what... In the end, I still rejected him! He then gave me a stare as if I owe it to him and walked back to his table! Just felt like laughing after that coz he made himself paiseh bah... And later Fang told me that he went to approach that chio gal who he kept staring at previously! Don't understand and cannot stand this kind of guys!! Fucking desperate is it??!

Later some ang moh guy who seemed to be drunk walked past and put his arm around my waist... gave me a shock!! I faster use my hand to shake his hand off!! Sibei suay!!

That's not all... Like Fang said, I seem to attract many weirdos!! Not long after, while I was taking a rest and just standing there chatting with Fang, suddenly came this black guy (as in nigga) who reached out his hand to me as if he wants to shake my hand... My first reaction was to slap his hand... I don't know why but I thought he wanted to do the type of hand sign which Dear always do with his colleagues at Wine Network... Those brother-brother handshake lah... But then that nigga took my hand and started bouncing to the music while I was just standing there looking at him, still trying to figure out what he is trying to do... After that, I took away my hand and he also walked away!! Kekekeke... so silly! Fang said that maybe he wanted to dance with me... Hahaaa!! Too bad then... Tough luck!

"You could see me, you can't squeeze me, I ain't easy, I ain't sleazy, I got reasons why I tease them, boys just come and go like seasons, I'm PERSISTAN(T)!... but I ain't promiscuous and if you were suspicious, all that shit is fictitious..." - Fergalicious.

Oh yah, I hate that group of ah thiongs who took over our territory using their 'act ignorant' and 'treat others as invisible' skills!! One of them reminds me of our weird lecturemate - Sky!

Self-Reflection on Job Seeking...

People always wonder what takes me so long to find a job? Is it bcoz I am too choosy?? Or am I just too lousy??

There are times when I feel that others perceive people who are jobless for a long period of time as useless bum / being too choosy / enjoying life / don't want to work on purpose / cannot take hardship... Whatever whatever...

Why am I out of job for so many months?...

Choosy - Yes!! I am choosy, far too choosy!! And maybe like what others think, I deserve it! It's my own fault for putting too many restrictions to the jobs I apply for!

Well, I believe everyone has their own concerns and criterias when it comes to choosing the type of jobs that they want to work in. Some people may have few restrictions, others plenty! I belong to the second group!

Whenever I get job interviews/offers from companies or job recommendations from agencies, I will start considering about the following factors, which most of the time, caused me to reject them... I admit that this is my bad point!! but I cannot help thinking twice about the job especially when there is an unbalanced feeling!!

"The location of the company is too far from my place!"

"The pay is too low."

"I do not want to work retail or shift hours."

"I prefer 5 days to 5 1/2 days work week!"

"I do not want to go back to customer service!"

"I don't like the industry/field coz I have no interest in it!"

"Aiyah, why must wear so formal?"

Find any of the above familiar?? The bad part is that I can even choose to forgo the job even though I may be affected by only 1 of the above factors! At the end of it, it's all bcoz I am afraid that it might still lead to 'What if I don't like the job and wants to quit within a year again?', and I am just trying to avoid that from happening...

I know I am the type who cannot stay long in a job once I don't like it, even if it's for a year. To others, 1 year is the minimum staying period no matter how bad the job is... To me, it's considered very very long - 1 year = 12months = 365days = 8760hours = 525600minutes!!! Not to mention 1 year... 6 months is already long enough!! And I know I cannot do it!! I hate being stucked in a bad and unsatisfying job, yet having to endure working for long term just to earn the credit in my resume!!! This is why I really have to choose something that I will not regret doing in order to let me stay in the job for at least a year or more!

Adding on to that, I have enough short-term employments in my resume due to all the wrong choices made previously... so many until companies think that I am a job-hopper... And in order to put a stop to this, I really need to look into every single factor stated above so as not to feel unsatisfield with my job and then quitting it again!!! And then I would have to start all over again!

Like I said, there are reasons behind every single factor for me to reject the offer... To me, these are reasons which I am very concerned about... but others may find them unimportant...

Being choosy is not just the only reason... there are many other reasons which again, others cannot relate to (maybe some of them can, I don't know)... bcoz they are not me. It's my life - only I know what I want, what has happened to it previously and now I am determined to live the rest of it in my own way, my own liking!!

Interviewers like to ask "Why do you have a sudden change of interest from customer service to whatever position which I have applied for?"

My explanation: I would like to move on to other areas so as to take on new tasks and pick up new skills.

In my mind: Ya, like real! I never like customer service... It just started bcoz customer service was the first job I took up eversince I graduated from poly, thus my subsequent jobs were offered due to my experiences earned based on my first and previous jobs, which were mostly also in customer service. All other fields require job candidates to have at least 2-3 years of relevant working experiences, where the hell am I going to get those job experiences from if I am not even given an opportunity to be hired in the other areas??! Of coz I need to start off somewhere, and this somewhere suay suay happened to be customer service which is the most shitty job on earth!! And I do not want to continue my life working so miserably to take on all these shit!! But how am I suppose to tell the truth to the interviewers?? Such explanations will definitely not be what the interviewers are expecting to hear bcoz they will think that I am someone who cannot take on challenges!

Then their next concern will be "I see that your employments are relatively short in each company..."

My explanation was of coz given according to what I think is appropriate to the interviewer but then again deep down...

In my mind: Yes! I knew I would be asked on this!! I know what the interviewer is thinking - I am a job-hopper right???... How do expect me to stay long in my job when I don't even like it in the first place but always get back to it only bcoz that's the only type of job which was offered to me at the salary which meets my expectations?? Then again, companies are not willing to hire someone without experience in the other areas that I like, where else can I go then?? Of coz go back to where I have the experience and could get a higher salary lah!!! Even if they do hire fresh grads, I am always not the lucky one to be selected... and what can I do?? Take a knife and threaten the employer???

I have a strong determination to work in the fashion or music and entertainment industry... But I do not have the relevant contacts/network, education and experiences in these areas! In fact, I have tried applying for positions in these areas, went for the job interviews with hopes but left the interview room with feedbacks which tell me that I do not possess the right attributes or experiences and education/knowledge in these areas!! Frankly, despite knowing that it will be harder for me to get into these jobs with zero experience, I still continue trying my luck! But whenever I leave the interview room knowing that I do not stand the chance, I feel really depressed and disappointed!! Perhaps, this is why I do not have the spirit in my job search... bcoz my heart already tells me that whichever other job comes along is still not what I want.

I may be naive and unrealistic about pursuing my dream job... But all I can say is that I want to try, have tried and failed but is still determined to try again and get a job in these fields... All other jobs are juz considered plain boring and uninteresting to me! Sometimes I even think that I am just not suitable to work in Singapore, a place where everything is so practical, stressful and unentertaining, a place where people talk business and education so seriously that someone who is unemployed may even be seen as weird, abnormal and unacceptable in the society...

Afterall, it's hard to explain... and I don't know where I am targeting at now... I don't know if I am doing the right thing by keeping firm on my decision and working towards my goal. I feel that my life is now kinda directionless bcoz after attending several interviews which have given me hope initially, but after the interview, the hope was again taken away by the interviewer, I feel like giving up! The job I want does not want me, yet the job I do not want comes looking for me... Why must things happen in the opposite way?? Job-seeking suxs!!! I'm so confused and tired now...

When is an angel-hearted interviewer going to appear to grant me my wish?? I hope the time will come very soon! I'm really sick and tired of attending so many interviews without positive results...

What Motivate You To Work??

Just came back from a job interview for a corporate sales position and I was being asked this question - What motivate you to work? Given a choice to choose between money and job position... what will you say???

I actually said job position during my interview. And I went on to explain that when a person gets promoted to a higher position, their salary will also increase! However, while on my way back home on the bus, I suddenly realized that I should have said money instead! Bcoz I am applying for a sales job and I guessed money is the answer they want to hear!! Damn... How can I forget about that? - Monetary incentives would motivate salespeople to try and hit their sales targets in order to get higher commissions!

Now that I remembered being asked this same question during my other sales job interviews previously, I used to say money motivates me and the interviewers all seem satisfied with my reply... and I was even shortlisted for second interviews. I don't know why I said position this time round... Geh kiang lah!! Perhaps at that point of time, I totally forgot that I was interviewing for a sale job, so I just blabbed out what I thought would be appropriate but not my true answer. =P

The overall interview progressed on quite smoothly, except for the fact that I think I answered the above question wrongly... =( And that I asked questions on almost everything about the job and company, but forgot to ask about the working hours. Duhh...

Although I think I answered most of the question quite appropriately, I saw the director scribbling alot of things taking up about 3/4 of an A4 size paper... be it when I am answering his questions or asking him questions! Got a feeling that he thinks that I may be suitable for the position bcoz of the skills I have picked up from the service industry but I think he's still hoping to look for other job candidates with the right attributes for the sales post.

Well well, I will need to wait till probably mid of next week to see if I am selected for a 2nd interview loh. Meanwhile, wish me luck for my next interview tomorrow! =)

Spiderman 3

Went to watch the long awaited Spiderman 3 movie yesterday night at Suntec Eng Wah with Choco and friends... Another funny movie with a sad ending, but with much more excitements in the show... coz I was always hoping that Spiderman will not get trashed by his enemies!

There's a part whereby Spidey dropped his ring which was meant for Mary-jane while being attacked by Harry, his best friend... I hoped I could just reach out and grab the ring for him coz it seems like it's falling towards us... Hahaa...

I like it when Peter Parker was 'possessed' by the black Venom. Although he became kinda evil but I think he acts really weird, cheeky and funny!! Especially when he combed down his fringe, walked and danced along the streets doing the pointing actions at gals and also changed into an all-black formal suit... he somehow reminds me of the band called Green Day!! Ahahahaaa!! I guessed Venom must be a really good musician since he can make Peter Parker sings, dances and even plays the piano!! Kekeke!!

By the way, does anyone remember the tune of the theme song in the Spiderman cartoon in the 80s?? I was wondering why Spiderman does not have a fixed theme song like Superman and Batman which I can remember??? I went to Youtube to search for the tune but it doesn't sound familiar at all... =(

Hahaa... Obviously, I wasn't very interested in Spiderman last time bah! My favourite is still Superman!! Reason being he is much stronger and more handsome than Spiderman!! Ahahaaa... My analysis of why Superman is stronger than Spiderman - Superman could stop a plane from falling without exerting much strength (in Superman Returns), but Spiderman passed out after stopping a train (in Spiderman 2)! Kekeke... =P

Hmmm... And why isn't there any movie about Wonder Woman???

De-stress Days

Was feeling very much better these days, especially after going out with friends during end of last week!

I have to apologize to some of my friends who got worried after reading about my blog entry before the previous one. Don't worry k, I was just stating my frustration in general so as not to reveal to anyone who I am actually referring to (though some already knew by now)... Ahahaaa!! For friends who had approached my Dear to ask if it was you that I was talking about, the answer is... No, it's not you! Coz Deardear has already told me who approached him!! Anyway, I think the person I am referring to doesn't read my blog... but if he/she does... too bad loh!

Have been going out since last Thursday!! Went KTV with Vanessa again!!! We went to the KBox at CineLeisure and took up the KBuffet package, so we sang from 6-9pm and had our dinner while singing... There was a even bigger Fahrenheit poster at the entrance of CineLeisure's KBox on level 8!!! It is made up of the size of 2 walls!!! We went crazy again... and started taking photos with it just before we left the place! Yeah... my favourite Arron Yan Ya Lun!!!!!! Hehee...

On Friday, I met Deardear, Tammie and Fang for dinner at Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao restuarant! That's when I realized that Fang reacted weird towards me when she first saw me... Kekeke... And that was why I asked Dear if anyone asked him about what I blogged, so decided to clarify with my close friends if I had the chance. Felt abit bad after that... After dinner, Deardear and I then went to CineLeisure to watch a movie - Wild Hogs! I thought it would be boring coz I don't remember watching the trailer, but it turned out to be a very funny movie!

On Saturdays, I met Fang and Eileen at VivoCity for dinner and we shopped for awhile. I finally went to the very big pet shop there called Pet Safari!!! They sell doggies, rabbits and hamsters there!!! The hamsters are so tiny and cute!!! Some of them are as small as 3-4cm long only!! Saw 3 "Zaizai"s there too!! I meant Schnauzers lah! Hahaa!! After that, we went to Toys 'R' Us to try our luck on one of the toy egg machines... Each of us got a different design of the toy... Here's mine... Cute right??

Around 9plus, we went to Wala Wala to catch the live band performance. We ordered HoeGaarden, chicken wings and breaded mussels. Their breaded mussels are quite tasty!!! Yum yum!! As for the live band, I don't really know the songs they sang, except for Summer Rain, Locomotion, Mr Big and Wake Me Up When September Ends! The rest of the songs they played were mostly very rock music and super blasting loud... The singer is really good, she has got a very strong vocal! But still, I prefer clubbing then pubbing bah... Coz I feel abit scared to be sitting near ang mohs who will turn around and talk to me... Kekekeke... Or unless the band performs more songs that I heard of before... Anyway, we stayed to listen to the 3 sets of performance till Wala Wala closed that night.

Then on Sunday, Deardear and I met Eileen and Kelvin to watch 200 Pounds Beauty at Lido. We went for dinner and shopping as usual before the show. The show was quite funny but the ending was kinda sad and touching... I even cried. I think the girl who acted as the 200 pounds fat girl is really very pretty!! She looks like a mixture of Vivian Hsu, Gillian from Twins and Michelle Chia. And Dear added Jessica Alba... The storyline reminded me of the Hong Kong movie starred by Ah Sa from Twins called Xia Yi Zhan Tian Hou.

Ok, so that was a stretch of de-stress days for me! Oh yes, I have not post the picture of my V3 which has a new facelift! Kekeke... Ta-dah~!!

No, I did not do it myself. Was intending to buy the stickers, crystals and accessories from one of the shops in Far East Plaza so that I could decorate it myself but ended up asking the shop assistant to help me with it... coz I estimated that the amount of items that I need to buy will add up to about the same cost of asking the girl to do it for me.

In fact, I asked her for an estimated price for decorating the whole phone with crystals, she then told me to choose the stickers and tell her my ideal design... and said that I will only need to pay for the materials that are used to stick on the phone. After I told her my ideal design, she quoted me that it will cost about $100plus which I think is much cheaper than doing it that GMask. I know it's still considered expensive and unneccessary, but I just wana try it out... It's just like the last time I paid $100plus for my acrylic nail extensions...

I spent a total of almost 7 hours at the shop waiting for the girl to stick on the fake crystals for me... She even splitted it up into 2 days to decorate the whole handphone - 3 hours on the first day to decorate the front and 4 hours on the second day to decorate the back! Hehee... I ended up chit-chatting and making friends with that sales girl named Meijun. In the end, everything costs $150... I think the overall design is very nice but I am not very satisfied with crystal stickers used. Bcoz they kinda turned blur after getting contact with the glue. Now I see the difference in terms of price and quality between my crystal wrapped V3 and those done by GMask. GMask uses Swarovski crystals which are more shiny and bling!

I think I can do better if I had done it myself bcoz I will be extra careful. Anyone interested to let me do it for them?? I will not charge too much, will only charge the materials used... Hehee!! Hey, I am serious! After observing how the girl did it, I have learnt some skills from her too! Maybe this can be my sideline... =P

Hey Eileen, when do you want to let me earn your $100??? Haaaa...

The Phantom Of The Opera @ The Esplanade

Deardear brought me to The Esplanade to watch The Phantom of the Opera today!! Hehee! He actually bought the tickets 2 weeks ago online...

It's my first time watching a musical at The Esplanade... All along, I have this perception that people going to watch a play must be dressed up nicely - as in ladies in dress and gentlemen in more formal or semi-formal wear! But Deardear told me that there's no specific dresscode for such occasions... However, what I noticed today is that most of the audiences are nicely dressed up! Good thing I wore a dress today - totally appropriate to blend in with the rest! Kekeke... It's the new dress which I bought from Yahoo Auction recently!

Since it was my first time in the Esplanade Theatre, I tried to take pictures inside although photography is not permitted!! Deardear and I tried taking pictures tactfully by not switching on the flash... until Dear accidentally switched on the flash on the camera and took a super kok photo of us (himself)!! Ahahaaaa!! Then I saw eyes looking at us from one of the ushers. So I quickly kept my camera after that.

Overall, the performance was splendid but there were a few parts where I felt alittle sleepy and wanted to yawn... but I dared not and had to control yawning with my mouth closed!! Hahaa! I think it was due to the dryness of my eyes coz I was wearing my contacts.

The very beginning part of the play actually gave me goosebumps!! Coz I felt kinda scared when they switched off all the lights and played the overture music so loudly with the flash lights flickering while they raised the chandelier... I was then wondering if the phantom will appear suddenly from no where... But he didn't la... hehee...

There were also certain parts which made me very curious!! I wondered how did they make the candles disappeared into the ground when there are no holes on the stage (maybe too small to see)... And there's a part where Christine and the phantom was on the ground level, but they could suddenly appeared on the much higher platform slope within the next 1 second!! Are there 2 different actors acting for the characters of Christine and the phantom each?? Then the last part where the phantom disappeared after he covered himself with a cloth while sitting on the chair was like some kind of magic show!!! Wonder how they did all these???

The ending was kinda sad when the phantom told Christine to leave with Raoul... Felt sorry for the phantom... zhen ke lian... But anyway, the phantom got the loudest applauses from the audiences!!

After the performance, we tried taking pictures inside the theatre again but all of them turned out to be blurred!!! This was the best among the 3 pictures we took before the ushers chased us out! I looked as if I am vanishing in the photo - ghost of the opera!!! Kekeke...

As usual, just like after Jolin's concert... everyone rushed out to take picture with The Phantom of the Opera poster after the play ended!! Having experience of such situation, Deardear and I went for dinner first at Makansutra, then made our way back to take pictures with the poster!! When we went back, we had the poster all to ourselves... so we could take as many pictures as we want!! Hee!

Super Low Morale...

Went for an interview at Orchard Parade Hotel yesterday... it was the worst interview I ever went to this year, which spoilt my whole day's mood after that! And I am still affected by it now!! Probably I should be ashamed to blog about it here... coz I admit that I was first in the wrong for being late for the interview due to procrastination. But then again I have my rights to air my displeasure and discomfort about the whole interviewing process here, especially towards the sucky interviewer!!

It is a guy as usual!!! And I don't know why this always happens to me when I meet male interviewers in their 30s or 40s with super BIG egos, thinking that they are the boss so they are the smartest alex on earth, having the authority to look down on others and never giving chance when it comes to questioning the job candidate!!

In the first place, I should not even have gone for the interview coz it was for an admin executive post which I don't know why I applied anyway. I guessed maybe I am just too desperate to get out of the customer service line and since I cannot find a job in my desired industry and field... I ended up applying for such boring positions in state of stress!! Anyway, I went just bcoz I do not want my parents to think that I do not have any interviews to attend and it was also to prevent further naggings... Moreover, I thought there was no harm going for the interview to find out more about the job. BUT I really regret going and was thoroughly wrong for thinking that there will be no harm going for the interview after attending yesterday's interview... In fact, I was emotionally hurt strongly by the interviewer with his sarcastic interviewing tactics due to prejudice!

Well, I know that I was in the wrong first for being late but I apologized. When I entered the interviewer's room, we greeted each other and shook hands as per normal procedures... He then told me to close the door in an authoritative voice. But I smiled and said "Sure!"... After that, both of us sat down and he started asking why I was late, so I told him that I was unable to find the office although I saw his face showing that he wasn't convinced at all. Well, I was lying so be it... The interview proceeded...

The interviewer started asking me strings of questions that shot me down till I felt like leaving the room, but I couldn't due to insufficient courage to do so... And so I suffered in that cold room with that inhumane MCP (male chauvinist PIG) questioning and talking to me in a cocky way for a whole 30mins!! Initially, I tried my best to answer to his every question, putting in the effort to think then reply, no matter how difficult his questions were, be it redundant or not! But I got provoked when he started make crude remarks about me... that he thinks I was dressed too casually and was acting over-friendly!!!

Before I go on further, he actually disclosed that he has another open position available doing sales during the interview and asked if I am interested. So I said that I am open to both positions... It was then he started commenting about me not being professional enough and was acting over-friendly!!!

For goodness sick... I was wearing a suit and he said that I was too casual?!!! I am friendly bcoz I was from the customer service industry.... furthermore we were trained to be friendly, so now I am friendly naturally to anyone bcoz of my good interpersonal skills OKAY??!!!! Since he hiam me to be over-friendly, I shall not be friendly to him here!! ---> "FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE~!!!!!!" I am DEFINITELY NOT acting or trying too hard to be friendly... bcoz I will never try to act friendly in order to get a job... For me to be acting friendly, that will only happen if I am working in a customer service job bcoz that is my job... I am not the phantom of the opera coz I do not wear a mask!!! Moreover, why should I be acting over-friendly to the interviewer for a job I was having intentions to forgo in the first place???! SIAO!!!

Anyway, he went on to say that I was too casual and not professional due to my nose stud and long nails... He even told me to take a good look at his staffs sitting outside his room, he made another rude statement saying "All my staffs here are very professional. You do not see anyone who is unprofessional here... or anyone wearing nose stud. And our sales persons here cannot be over-friendly... We do not anyhow hire AH LIANS here... I am not saying that you are ah lian, I am just stating an example..."

THIS IS AN OUTRAGEOUS INSULT!!! No doubt I may wear a nose stud (which I forgot to remove before the interview) and keep long nails, that does not mean that I have to be an ah lian!! Furthermore, I am not even working for him yet... so who is he to make such comments?? Anyway, the position I applied for was an admin position, not the sales position... So why must I be so professional when the job details for the admin post did not state that I need to meet clients??? And by the way, where is his professionalism then?? Is he being professional enough to be an interviewer when he shows prejudice by stereotyping the job candidate????!!!!! DEFINITELY NOT!!!

I also do not see why a salesperson cannot be friendly?? He said that it is important for sales people to build relationship within their network... But if they cannot be friendly, how are they able to build rapport and strengthen their relationship with their clients??? He made no sense completely!!!!!! RUBBISH!!! Furthermore, I think he is just telling a lie about his salesperson... bcoz immediately after I stepped out of his room while making my way to the lift, a lady approached me and said "Oh hi, we have not met. Are you new here??" Ahahahaa... That lady gave him away... This proves that people working there are not like how he described!

Later he went on to asked if I am willing to remove my nose stud and cut my nails short if he were to consider me for the sales position... By then I was expressionless and have given up on the interview... I gave him a firm "No." He was stunned! "Haaa!!!!" he laughed to himself and said that this is the first time he came across someone who is not willing to give up wearing the nose stud for a job... Then he asked me why is this so... And I told him, "I have not encountered such issues during my job interviews so far! To give up wearing my nose stud will cause the hole to close. And since it has been there for so long, so there's a need to consider about it if the hole were to close up! I have never thought that it could be something that will affect my job interview!" That interviewer then said "Maybe that's why you have not found a job for so long!"

I will not forget my previous experience of trimming away my acrylic extensions bcoz the interviewer said so... and that I was hoping to get the job in that apparel company, but in the end I wasn't even contacted for the second interview... I am not so stupid to satisfy the interviewer's request this time now, coz they are not even hiring me yet!! Oh well, so what if I am an ah lian? I am all happy and comfortable here being an ah lian than to act professional and to dress myself in business suits that are so hot, stiff and uncomfortable!! And seeing him as the future boss for the positions, he's damn sarcastic I must say!!!! I really don't see a point working for someone like that!!

In fact, the interview ended off with that asshole asking if I have any questions... so I abruptly asked about the career path of the sales position... He explained everything from company's prospect to grooming of the right candidate to the remunerations, which sounded quite attractive... ends it off saying "Since you do not have any question for me, I have a meeting to attend... So let's end it here!"... not giving me a chance to ask further...

Excuse me, how can he just end off the interview like that??? I have not even finished asking my questions... Obviously, he is brushing me off and I can tell it from his fucked up attitude!!

There's another issue which I have been facing recently but I do not know how to put it across, especially to my friends... So I shall express it here... seeking your sincere understanding...

For information to my friends or relatives, I would very much appreciate if you could stop asking me about what I have been doing recently can!!! It gets me really irritated and frustrated when such questions are being asked bcoz to me, it seems that you guys may think that I am enjoying life doing nothing at home! Please do not add to my stress as I am already getting enough pressure from my family members for not being able to get a job! Although I understand that most of you asked the question out of concern, I hope you can understand the situation that I am in too... Thanks alot!

By the way, I am not as relax and stressless as what others may think when they come to know that I am not working currently!! Stop asking me what have I been doing recently when you should apparently know that I am currently looking for a job... It's perfectly fine to ask if you are really concern... but please don't continue by saying that I am enjoying life!!! Coz I hate it when some people perceived it as I am enjoying life!! And I have been hearing that too many times!!! As a jobless person, staying at home applying for jobs and doing the things I like sometimes during my free time after applying for jobs is very normal!! You don't expect a person to be applying for jobs from the minute they wake up till the minute they go to bed at night, don't you?? So doing my own things does not mean that I am enjoying life!! And if you are jealous or envious of me for having such a "good" life, let me tell you... You can always quit your job and "enjoy your life" at home like me!!! So STOP SAYING THAT YOU ARE ENVIOUS OF ME OKAY!!!

Sorry for being so direct in putting my message across. Hope you guys can put yourselves in my shoes... You will understand what I mean... =)

My New Past-Time - Online Shopping

Have been feeling kinda lazy to blog lately... Maybe bcoz there's nothing much to blog about anyway... Recently, I am very into buying clothings and accessories online, eversince I made my online purchase for the hip-hop cap, I have been surfing Yahoo Auction very frequently on these few days.

It all started bcoz Deardear told me to try searching from Yahoo Auctions for the Jolin concert hip-hop cap. Well, I didn't see anyone auctioning the cap, instead I found quite a number of pretty pretty clothings there!!! Some might be 2nd hand items, but there are also brand new stuffs which others brought in from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Japan!!! Coooooool huh!!! And I have just bought 2 dresses from one of the auctioners! Hee! =D

One of them is a normal white dress which cost $28... Bought it coz I was thinking that since I do not have alot of dresses, so might as well buy it since it looks quite sweet in the picture and it's new. Together with it, I bought another blue tunic dress... which looks really similar (not exactly the same though) to the dress which Jolin worn in her 'Ma De Li Bu Si Ye' music video!!! I love it although it's 2nd hand and worn once by the seller before.

In fact, I saw another person auctioning the same blue dress but she was selling it at $45. However, I bought the 2nd hand piece at only $25! Although it looked a little old when I first took it out from the envelope coz it was quite wrinkled after delivery, it looks fine after I ironed it!

I actually find the whole online purchasing process quite interesting! Bcoz it depends on your own judgement and instinct in making the decision whether to buy the item or not. Once payment has been transferred to the seller's bank account, the waiting part will be the most anxious part... bcoz you will be wondering eagerly on when the item is arriving? How will the item look like after receiving it? Does it look exactly like what you thought it will be? And most importantly, are you happy with the item after seeing it or feel disappointed?? So... it's all about taking risks when buying clothings from the net bcoz you cannot try, touch and see the actual physical product before making the purchase!

Now I am kinda addicted to visit the Yahoo Auctions website whenever I am free... The more I search and browse through the clothings that are being auctioned/sold by some of the sellers, the more tempted I am to buy the items from them! Heheee...

I suddenly even have this inspiration to learn fashion designing, so that I could design and make my own brand of clothings to sell or auction... Actually I have more to share about this but decided not to disclose further here as I don't want others to steal my idea! Hehee... For friends who are interested to know, you can ask me personally.

Reason for not disclosing my idea is bcoz nowadays people just don't have originality and individuality! Why do I say that??? BCOZ I COULD TELL FROM THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO NAVIGATES TO MY BLOG THROUGH SEARCHING FOR MY PRINCESS COUTURE LOGO!!!!!! I get very pissed off when others copy my stuffs, especially when I created that logo myself!!! DAMN YOU PEOPLE, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IF YOU ARE HERE TO STEAL MY LOGO!!! FUCK OFF OR ROLL!!! HAHAAA!!! =P

Oh yah, yesterday I asked one of the staff at the Wisma G Mask pushcart on the estimated price for making the whole handphone bling... Guess how much it can cost up to, with a $1.90 charge on per piece of crystal??? Meaning 1 crystal stud costs $1.90 each! I think you will not be able to guess the amount right bah!! The answer is...... it can cost up to about $400plus!!!! Upon hearing the amount, I gave up my initial idea to let them crystal wrap my V3, as mentioned in my last blog entry that going to them will be my last resort!! Haaa!!! That's crazy!!! =S

Anyway, I tried searching online for the accessories and crystals so that I could DIY the crystal wrap for my handphone... but I wasn't able to find any nice accessories from local sites. Instead, mostly were sold on Japanese websites!! And I can't purchase them coz I don't even understand a single word on it! I can only look at the very nice pictures!! Kekeke!! After browsing, I realized that Japan even sells the crystal wraps in DIY packages!! That's so coool!! And it costs only about S$60-80 per set! If other individual accessories were to be added, I think the total will only add up to S$100-200 bah!! Definitely NOT S$400!!!!!!

On the other hand, I've just bought a $395 ($335 after 15% discount) nylon bag from LeSportsac yesterday!! Hahahaa... I'm so contradicting isn't it?? A minute ago I was just saying that it's crazy to spent $400 on crystal wrapping my handphone and the next I just said I purchased a nylon bag which costs nearly $400!!! =P

Ok, actually I only paid $130 for it bcoz my Deardear sponsored the remaining $205 for me! Love it lots coz of the cute tokidoki design!! It's the Amore series for Summer 2007. And I bought the zucca model. The salesgirl said that it's an limited series which I am not too sure how true it is. But the first time I got to know of this brand was when I saw Charmaine's bf carrying another design last year! That time I was still thinking why is a guy carrying such a cute bag?!! Kekeke... But later Charmaine told me that it's a limited edition bag which she bought for him! Hehee... so sweet!!

Anyway, I think the design for this summer season is really very kawaii and colourful neh!! And I always love colourful things!!! Hehee... Especially the 'Adios' and 'Ciao ciao' characters printed on the bag, they are sooo cute!!! But I am wondering if I would regret buying it bcoz it's so expensive yet made of nylon... Furthermore, it doesn't look like it costs that price!! Sigh... Deardear told me to treat it as an investment though! In any case, I really like it alot although some people may find it kiddish...

By the way, if you are wondering what is the black thing hanging at the side of the bag, it's actually a Porter bear keychain... bcoz Deardear also bought a new sling bag from Porter on the same day, so he bought an additional Porter keychain for me. =)

Jolin Dancing Diva Singapore Concert 2007

Was supposed to blog about Jolin's concert soon after I came home after watching it, but I went clubbing after that... And bcoz Dear was off on Sunday and Monday, I did not have the time for blogging too! Then yesterday I was out the whole day shopping alone in town after a job interview. Had a shopping spree though... Kekeke... Although I spent alot and bought 3 tops from Hula & Co., Topshop and mPhosis respectively, I still have alot more things that I have spotted but did not buy.

I have also bought 2 books from Kinokuniya... one of the books is 'Wo Ai Da Ming Xing' (the one that talks about Jolin, XiaoZhu, Rainie and Stanley) and the other one, a handphone decor book. After learning about nail arts, now I am trying to learn how to decorate my own handphone with Swarovski crystals and other accessories to make it bling bling!! Wonder how much G-Mask charges to make the whole phone bling? I bet it should be damn ex manz!! I shall try to DIY first, going to them will be my last resort...

Back to Jolin's concert, it was superb!!! I was super high, as if being possessed by Jolin... Kekeke... Enjoyed myself really very very very much!!!!!! Too bad there's only 1 performance. If there's 2 nights of performance, I will go on the second night too! Wished I bought the most expensive ticket so that I could be sitting nearer, my camera can't take shit! Everything turned out to be small, even after zooming to the max!

So I didn't bothered much about taking pictures... And only tried filming while she was singing slow songs! Coz I was too busy standing up singing and "dancing" with the Princess while she was singing fast songs!!! It was like a super big public KTV manz! Hahaaa... I don't know why but I just didn't care about what others think then and just wanted to enjoy myself to the core!! Guess this is why I like watching concerts with Vanessa bah, coz both of us are alike!

One thing which surprised me was Eileen... Hahahaa!! I didn't expect her to be those who will scream at concerts kind. At first when she said she will join me being high during the concert, I still thought she say say only... But never did I expect her to scream even before I screamt! Hahaaa!! Maybe coz I was still busy blowing up the orange tubes when the concert started... Keke...

Well, actually I have not much to say about the concert itself except for the word 'superb!' coz I think you have to be there to experience it for yourself, to find out how spectacular it was bah... Then again, as a Jolin fanatic, everything is nice as long as it's Jolin! Hahahaa...

Anyway, I did not manage to buy the hip-hop cap coz we arrived kinda late and it was sold out... was of coz very disappointed though we were told that I could get it online (which I didn't want to in the first place). Actually I know that it could be bought online but my purpose to buy it at the concert is to wear it there and there's more meaning to it bah... But nevermind, at least I bought the concert poster with signature as a replacement to curb my disappointment. Many things which I wanted were sold out. The last minute decision to purchase the necklace was also sold out to that one customer before us. Damn!

I have no other choice but to purchase the things online. And that was the first thing I did after waking up on the Sunday. After I have placed my orders online, they initially told me that everything I ordered were sold out during the concert and they do not know whether the supplier from Taiwan still has the stocks... I started worrying... then 2 days later I received an email saying that the supplier has the stocks and the stocks will only be in within 2 weeks time. Whoo hoo!!!

I am waiting waiting waiting...

Ok... Pictures taken after the concert, here we go...

After the concert, Fang, Eileen and I went to St. James again... I meant again for me!!! I have been there on the last 3 Saturdays consecutively... becoming a chiongster soon huh?!! Of coz not! Anyway, we went to chill at the Gallery Bar and I managed to finish 1 bottole of Heineken all by myself!! Hahaa!! Another recent accomplishment for me leh! Normally, I can't even finish 1 small can of beer... but I drank 1 bottle that night! Made me wanna go toilet twice in a row due to bad bladder... Hahaaa...

After that we went to DragonFly... coz Eileen wanted to experience the environment there. Haa... Well, the only acceptable singer is Ben and maybe for me include the guitarist Six... Don't like the songs sung by the cha bo whom I previously commented on how bad she sang Wu Niang and the songs sung by William Scorpion... Got generation gap, we all don't know the songs they sing... Mostly never hear before one... No wonder got so many lao langs there!!!
